In Catching Fire Katniss wants to run away because president snow is going to kill her and her family and friends she asks her friend named Gale to come with. When Katniss was in the hunger games she had acted like she was insanely in love with Peeta Mellarch. when Katniss asked gale to run away he said no. But from Gales perspective he saw Katniss in love with a different person than him and when she asked him to run away he said no because a lot of people would be coming and he thought in stead of running from president snow it would be a great chance to start a rebellion.
